Emily Kostic is a social media nerd, online journalism-obsessed internet lover.
Her freelance work has been included in Courier Post, Burlington County Times, KYW1060, Philadelphia Magazine, US Weekly, Famode.com and Next American City’s blog The Daily Report.
While in college, Emily was the Web Editor of her college newspaper The Whit during the 2008-2009 school year where she lead the charge to redesign the paper’s online presence and push it forward into the digital age as CoPress‘ first client. The redesigned Web site was awarded a 2009 Associated Collegiate Press (ACP) Online Pacemaker award.
Emily was named one of the top 100 college journalists in the United States for the 2008-2009 school year by UWire 100. In addition, Emily has been featured on The Student Newspaper Survival Blog, the Courier Post‘s new media blog MoJo DoJo, and The Burlington County Times. Recently, Journalism 3.0 was awarded 2nd Place as Best Independent Blog by the Society of Professional Journalists in New Jersey.
